Dr Michael Sproat

Dr Michael Sproat currently works at Air Balloon surgery on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Michael qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in London in 2001. He successfully  gained membership of Royal College of Physicians during his hospital training and continues to retain a particular interest in Gastroenterology (bowel and stomach problems). He moved to Bristol with his family in 2006, completing his GP training here in 2008.  Alongside his work with us here, he also works in other GP surgeries across Bristol as a locum - offering help to practices when their regular GPs are not available.

Outside of work, Michael is kept busy by his wife, Grace, who is also a local GP and their three young children.  But when time allows he continues to retain a love of travel and playing enthusiastic, if not particularly well skilled, football!
