Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using the eConsult service.

We offer a full range of services including:

  • Long term conditions – asthma, diabetes, COPD, hypertension, stroke and TIA.
  • Contraception including coils and implants.
  • Treatment room – dressings, wound care, immunisations, smears.
  • Travel – We provide travel vaccines that are free on the NHS for both adult and children:  Hep A, Typhoid and DTP. Anything outside these will need to be done privately. We will offer advice if malaria is needed. Please book to have vaccines done 6 to 8 weeks before travel.
  • District nurse – 0300 125 6789.

  • Midwives – To contact a midwife to book for antenatal care visit www.nbt.nhs.uk/anb or leave a message on 0117 4146743. Antenatal Clinic (Appointments) – Telephone: 0117 4146924. Antenatal Clinic Midwives (Monday – Friday) – Telephone: 0117 4146929.

Some common queries are included below:

  • 2 course of Hep A vaccines but after the 2nd is given, it provides 25 years life cover.
  • Typhoid is 3 years.
  • DTP is 10 years.
